Focus Enhancements' vice president of
marketing, Tony Parker, said that his company's Summit wireless
technology can be used to custom tune and equalize different wireless
speaker systems for various room configurations. Installers using
Summit-enabled audio systems will have the ability to load as many as
four different coefficient sets that can control speaker placement and
listening preference. The filter coefficients can be programmed at the
factory and/or updated by the custom installer in the field. Focus
Enhancements' Summit patent-pending SpeakerFinder and My- Zone
technologies allow the installer to initially set up a 7.1 system in
less than a half hour, including sweet spot calibration. At CEDIA,
